Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My aunt has named a friend Power of Attorney, this friend takes care of basically all her needs, bank accounting, services for her health and he also hired a woman and her child (3 years ago) to come in everyday to take care of my aunt and distract her. My question : Is it legal to bring a child at work. Some of the neighbours complained to me, saying that it was child abuse. Can I please have your opinion on this matter.

The last year, my aunt was very sick and the child did not want to go anymore but the POA insisted. On the last week of my aunt's life, he wanted the mother and child to sleep at her house to keep her compagny during her last days, which I refused.
