Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

If you were award "permanent alimony" due to your ex spouse shooting you, can you keep the alimony if you remarry? There are no specifications in the divorce paper outlining when or why it should end. The state is Florida.

YOu need to have your dissolution of marriage reviewed by an attorney who can speak to you on the issue of alimony. Permanent alimony is indefinitely or until a time specified by court order. However, this kind of alimony may be modified for changed circumstances of either party.
