Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
A big move
I have made the decision to join families with a wonderful man, however this will mean relocating from florida to iowa. The non-custodial parent rarely, if ever, makes calls to or returns calls from the children, nor does he see them but maybe 1-2 times a year,so I do not feel this will be a move which will effect visitation. When we settled out of court we agreed to no geographical boundaries, and our settlement agreement does not state any geographical restriction. What would be the proper procedure to relocate?

YOU REALLY DON'T NEED ANY PERMISSION FROM HIM IF YOUR FINAL AGREEMENT DOESN'T SAY YOU NEED IT, BUT IF YOU ARE FEELING GOOD ABOUT HIM YOU MIGHT WANT TO GET HIM TO SIGN PERMISSION.. REALLY, ITS NOT NECESSARY.
