Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My ex bought our son a truck,that he promised him.We live out of state,son has to visit every summer as agreed upon.Can his dad keep him from bringing the truck home?If you buy something for your kids are you allowed to put a stipulation on it?

I watched Judge Judy and she told a parent they couldn't do that.I have 2 autos so he doesn't have to worry about me driving it.He only did it to bribe our son to live with him, I am the primary custody parent.

Parents have the right to put restrictions on children's property. He can do it.
