Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My ex boyfriend and I broke up a few months ago. After I moved away I found out I was pregnant. He has told me many times that this baby was a mistake and he doesnt want me to have it. he told me today that he still cares about me but is going to start dating around to see how he really feels about me and do what is right. I told him manning up is whats right not dating around to see whats best for him...its about the baby. i told him if hes going to date then so am I. He then got very upset...went from he didnt want the baby to threatening if I have it the war is on. He is going to take the baby away from me and he wants nothing to do with me. He is an airline pilot and flies all the time but still lives at home. His mom is never home and the house is unsanitary and his step dad is a drunk. I work at a restaurant and I am home 4 days a week and have lots of family support and live in a big clean house with my parents. We both dont have much money but after he told me he wanted nothing to do with the baby I started planning for its future and already saving money for it and trying hard to make sure it has the best life. Can he get full custody? Or even have the baby go live with him? He is in Indiana and I am in Florida. If he didnt want it I dont understand why now he wants to take it from me. He says because he has a better job and I am uneducated. I graduated high school and plan to go back to school to better my life for the baby before it is even born. How good are his chances? after having over 3 miscarriages I cant lose another child.

He has very little chance of getting custody. Doesn't sound like you are really ready for a fmily, though. Have you considered adoption. If you havethe child and keep it, then make sure he pays for support. Bring a paternity action to get a proper judgment and get his obligations finalized.
