Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My boyfriend, Krist was lad off from work with a sevrance check, out of that check came $50.00 for child support, he filed for unemployment and was getting that now the state of florida has decided that it is going to take half of his unemployment check for child support, even though he is still getting a sevrance check from his place of employment and $50 dollars is comming out of that, this was a JUDGES ORDER for $50.00 how can the state ignore a judges order and take whatever they want? This amount is more than the amount he was making when he was working?

How is he getting both unemployment and severance?

My hunch is that his support deduction was capped because he reached his maximum allowable deduction. Now he is receiving over his maximum, so more can come out of his checks. That's just a theory, though.
