Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
My new boyfriend is in the process of suing his ex for custody of their child. The child's mother is not allowing him to see her despite the fact that he is the sole financial provider. Also the mother is not legally allowed to reside in the United States. The child, and my boyfriend are both residents. Does he have a strong case and is sole custody possible?

Certainly sole custody is a possibility if she is excluded or deported from the U.S. Keeping him from his child won't help her case, either, since it demonstrates that she has no ability to co-parent. Otherwise, you'll have to speak to a lawyer and explain all the circumstances to better learn his chances of getting custody.
