Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
My boyfriend is going through a sex change to become a girl. Lets say we get married before the sex change becomes legalized. Once she files to be a girl in the eyes of the law what will happen to our marriage?

his chromosomes will always say male so she/he is legally considered a male, under current FL law. Your marriage will be fine. In my opinion. Contact my office for free consultation 727-446-7659.

I handled this type of problem about five years ago. Under the law in effect the marriage status is not affected. You will remain married in the eyes of the state of Florida until someone petitions a court for dissolution.
