my brother barker-acted himself earlier today and he wants me to take over his company but his wife wont let me she just wants to sell his company how do i stop that

Not a simple answer. It will depend on how the bylaws and Articles of Incorporation are drawn up. In the event of incapacity, who is given authority to handle the company. If none of t his has been done, then one thing is certain, no one can do anything until someone is appointed by the court to be his guardian. I suggest you beat a path to the court house and get appointed as temporary guardian over his property so that it will not be squandered.

It depends on what kind of company it is: partnership, sole proprietorship, C Corp, S corp, LLC, etcetera.
