Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

How does my brother get his property out of a storage unit in his wife's name.

My brother was deployed by the Navy out to sea for 7 months. When he got home his newlywed wife had put all his possessions in a storage unit in HER name. She wanted nothing to do with him and refused to talk, so he is filing for divorce. She want's the car (financed in his name) and has said he can have all his personal belongings and their furniture (also financed in his name). But, she won't give him the key or pass-code for the storage unit. The storage unit manager will not let him in. The rental fee was 2mths past due, and he had to paid it to avoid his belonging being confiscated and sold by the manager.

How can he get HIS stuff? Once the divorce is filed, can he report it stolen? Can he get a court order that would allow him to retrieve his property?

Thank you for your help!

I don't know Florida law, but in if jurisdiction is in Texas, he needs to file for divorce, and get a temporary orders hearing with a court order allowing him access to this property, and establishing the temporary rules for personal property and debts.
