Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I called police on my boyfriend for domestic violence. I thought I was pregnant so they are charging with felony. I gave a statement but dont wnat him to go to jail. Should I retract my statement? What's the best move so he doesnt do jail time and it goes away?

It depends on what is in the statement. Typically there is no way to retract a statement given to the police. You should consult with an attorney as to how to proceed.
