Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I need to know if I have ANY chance at all and How Much it Might Cost for Me to Fight the State of Florida to REGAIN Custody of My Grand-Daughter who is 16 but handicapped. Her Mother is Dead, and has been, I was originally awarded Custody, but due to an emotional Break-down unrelated to Her Care, I let My niece take custody of Her without the Courts ( who had RETAINED Jurisdiction) permission. Then She gained and LOST Custody, now My Grand-daughter is with Her Other Grandmother, who is Mentally Ill, Physically Ill, allows Her to Run Wild, including Leaving Her at Peoples Houses for sometimes a month at a Time, where My Grand-Daughter Claims the Girls older Brother is having sex with Her and Her Friend. My Son, Her Father Tried to get Custody, but My Niece Talked DCF into Not giving it to Him based on His lack of Involvement in Her Life. Her Grandmother is doing NOTHING to make her Independent, She Took Her OFF the Birth Control Pills I had Gotten My niece to Put her On, BECAUSE I was afraid of Someone Taking advantage of Her, She has a GENETIC Disorder, That WILL get progressively WORSE with Each Generation. Her Mother Before She Died asked ME to Raise Her rather than HER Own Mother. My BIG Problem is, When I had the Break-down, I abused Her for about 2 Hours before coming to My senses and Taking Her to My niece. NOT SEXUALLY, But More Emotionally, in the Things I said and the way I acted in front of Her. So, My Question, is There ANY Chance of Getting Custody Back? AGAINST DCF, The COURT, and HER. Her Grandmother is WILLING to let Her Come back to Live with Me, But My Grand-Daughter LIKES getting Her Way, Doing Nothing, Skipping School, Sitting in front of the TV all the Time and does Not Want to Leave Her Friends! I Live in Ca. Now, She Lives in Fl. so, What do You Think? Sorry to be so Long-Winded! Thank-You, [email protected]
