Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

What are my chances of moving, with my minor child, 127 miles from my current town for work and educational purposes?

Does my husband being a registered sex offender, with an alcohol problem and recent DUI, bear any weight in the courts eyes. (When I moved out, I found drugs in the house, as well, and he was recently at a party doing drugs with a man that ended up falling twelve stories to his death.)

Where can I access information to build a strong case for myself in favor?

First, Florida law forbids what you want to do.

However, you are allowed to move if a judge agrees. The two major factors in getting a judge to agree are: does the father 1) exercise his visitation and 2) pay his support. If he does, your case is weak, though these other factors will help you.

There is no way you can "access information" on how to build a strong case. You don't go to court every day. You don't know the judges. You don't take classes on this stuff. You don't talk with lawyers about the law or ask how judges are ruling. You don't read the appellate cases. You didn't go to law school. Do this on your own and you lose. Go get a lawyer or you're wasting your time.
