Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Name change on Birth cert.

When my daughter was born I was not married to her father who now we are married. I did not list him as the dad and she has my maiden name as her last name on her soc. sec. card and birth cert. I want to list him as the dad and let her have his last name..How do I do this?? The birth took place in New York.Thanks.

Call NY's vital stats office and ask; you may need a name change proceeding in court.
