Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Change of Residential Custodian

My X wife is refusing to honor our visitation agreement for my 13 year old. My 13 year old wants to move to California permenantly. If I buy a plane ticket for the minor child and she is put on the flight by her Brother, will I be breaking any laws by this action?

Re: Change of Residential Custodian

Your child custody/visitation issues need to be revisited by the court, rather than by taking the law into your own hands.

Retain counsel in California to assist in enforcing court set rights. DO not take matter in your own hands. You cannot properly take care of your child if you are in jail and if you take such action without court blessing, you have a strike against you.

Re: Change of Residential Custodian

I don't know which court granted the visitation orders but you need to have the court revisit the situation. Do not, I repeat, do not take the law into your own hands as you may very well suffer consequences yhat you didn't bargain for. You should retain the assistance of competent counsel to help you.
