changing part of divorce papers

my x-husband put in the divorce papers, that when the kids turn 21, I have to sell the house and split the money 50/50 with him.since I'm making all the mortgage payments by myself for at least 5 years before selling and I am also paying for all repairs and upgrades needed on the house to make it ready to put on the market, is there any way to amend the divorce papers ? or do I still have to split 50/50 with him ?

You may not have to split the money. I would need more information to advise you on this matter.

In view of the change of circumstances you should petition the court for a modification of the judgment.
