Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

When a child is adopted in the state of Florida, what are the legalities of moving out? I am 16 years old and do NOT get along with my adoptive mother and it is a mutal moving out. I have dropped out of school and want to do g.e.d , the school i went to offers it but i had troubles at that school. So i wanted to move in with my birth mother and do g.e.d. I've heard many times that a adopted child can move out at 17. In the home i live in with my adoptive mother there is constant fighting between me and her. Also between my half brother who also lives in the home. I have runaway many times and it would be nice for the law to help me out rather then put me behind bars because i cant live in the home i am now.

You must have your adoptive mother's and adoptive father's consent to live elsewhere, even at 17. Get their consent in writing. Good luck with obtaining your GED.
