I can't afford an attorney. Where can I get help?

You can try the local legal aid society if one exists in your area, but be careful, whereas many talented lawyers work for legal aid, you may find that a free lawyer is worth every penny.

Beg, borrow (don't steal), but find the money for a lawyer. My favorite saying, because it's so true, is: there's nothing more expenive than NOT having a lawyer.
