What constitutes a custodial parent in the state of Florida?

The custodial parent is the one who has the physical custody of the child and with whom the child resides.

The term "custodial parent" has no legal meaning in Florida. The actual term is "primary residential parent," which usually means the person who has the kids for a greater amount of the time or the person who receives the child support.
