Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

child custody

I was divorced in 2002.My ex wife is remarried. She is primary custodial and liveng in wpb florida. I have joint custody and live in broward county. There are no child support issues and i just found out that my ex is planning a move to south carolina with my 14 year old daughter. Can she just up and leave the state without my approval? Do i have any recourse and what can i do.

No she cannot. It is up to you to prevent it, by court order. Good luck.
