child custody in florida

my son i gave up for adoption is now 16. he wants to live with me and his adoptive parents want that also. they live in michigan, and i live in florida. what do we need to do to make it legal.

In Florida, if it's just a matter of living with you and the parents agree, you can simply have them sign an agreement to that effect. Or, the child could petition for emancipation, no longer be a minor, and live where she wants to live. They need to see if the Michigan laws are similar to Florida's and allow for the above.
