Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Child Custody/ Other

I am 19 and I was 17 when I gave birth to my child and my boyfriend at the time signed her birth certifate. We are not together and now he is bothering and saying things like, he may not be her biological father but he still is her father. I dont want nothing from he I just want him to leave me alone. We've been to court and they gave him visitation and she doesnt want to go. I just want him out of my life. My parents want to take him to court for me being under age. What can me and my parents do legaly so that I wont have to deal with him anymore?

Re: Child Custody/ Other

He is the father of your child. Unless a court determines that he is detrimental to the child, he is entitled to visitation, at a minimum. The courts start from the principle that it is in the best interest of the child to have both parents around if at all possible.
