Re: child custody

It is my advice that you seek the assistance of attorney now. If you would like to speak with me e-mail me your phone number and I'll call you back.

Re: child custody

You need to consult an attorney in your area as soon as possible. If you were served with a Supplemental Petition for Modification you have twenty days to file a written response.

Re: child custody

If you don't feel comfortable doing this yourself, you need to find a lawyer to help you. If it was only a motion that you were served with, then no response is due unless you want to file one prior to the hearing on the motion.

If, however, you were served with a petition of some sort, you must file an answer with the court within 20 days or risk a default being entered against you.
