Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Child Custody

If my husband's ex wife decides to take their son out of the state without his permission can some kind of legal action be taken? If she takes the son out of the state and it interferes with the father's visitation, can she do that? Do she have to have permission from the father to take the child out of the state?

Re: Child Custody

It's not permission per se. But, you have an opportunity to contest her plans before a judge. She has to show several things before she can be allowed to take your child out of State. If she leaves without notice, you have other legal recourses as well.
