Child Custody
Hello, I need information on how to obtain legal custody of my 3 year old daughter, her father has been making threats to take her away from me and I desperately need help, I was also wondering if there are any state appointed lawyers or lawyers that help people with financial assistance in paying for services? Please Help!

Contact your local courthouse about services they may offer to pro-se clients. Some courts have on-staff attorneys to assist indigent people as well as forms you can fill out yourself. You can also see if there is a local legal aid who will take your case without fees or refer you to an attorney who will.
