Child Custody

I have 50/50 custody with my ex. He is being very neglectful of our daughter. If my daughter wants to live with me more, does she have a say so in this issue. She is 16 years old going on seventeen. If she does not want to go back to his house. Is she allowed to do that? Please email me at the email given below.

Go back to Court. You will have to substantiate the neglect. She can state her wishes to the judge. However, the law favors children having two parents in their lives. You might want to look into some family counseling to see what is causing this neglect. Also probably cheaper in the long run.
