Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

child custody

I have recently moved to VA, Wife is trying to relocate child, but ex husband has refused to let his son leave the state of FL. I have endured months of being seperated from my wife and daughter. and my wife will not leave the state for more than a week ata time beacuse of the ex husbands weekly visitaion rights .

Is there anything I can do to get my family up here until the court date for the hearing? I just want to spend time with my family without my wife having to drive 800 mile so that her ex can see his son for 2 days. Can we let him temporarily watch his son , like a month on, month off thing until this is over?

would this look bad to a judge? (like abandonment?)

Re: child custody

She will have to petition the court for relief. The best intersts of the child will decide the issue.
