Child custody

I share children with my ex boyfriend and I moved out of state (from FL to GA) we made a verbal agreement to each keep one child with no court involvement. I am trying to find out if it is legal to go back to FL and obtain physical custody of my first child. (Since I want the children together, and the father is fighting me).

You can certainly petition. Many factors will go into the court's decision.

yes, your oral agreement has no bearing on the best interests of the child.
