Child Custody

My ex and I have shared custody with him being custodial parent. My ex's girlfriend who he lives with and has been with for 9 years decided she didnt want my daughter there anymore, so she is now with me. I need to change her school, do I need to get his permission? Also, what needs to be done to get the custody agreement changed? I also have a 14 year old son that is staying there with his dad.
