Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Child Custody/ Child Support
My mother currently has my son living with her, and has recentyl sought and been awarded child support from me. The order does not mention custody, and I have a prior order from taking his father to court awarding me full custody. My mother's situation has changed drastically, and I no longer feel my son in is a stable environment, and wish to have him back in my care, (it was previously agreed verbally that he would finish the scholl year with them), Can I remove him from my mother's house without law enforcment, and what steps do I take to have the child support order, excluding arrears, dropped?

Re: Child Custody/ Child Support
If you have a court order giving you custody (and probably even if you don't), you can go get your son, and you don't have to use the police. Of course, if she causes trouble, you may need to ask the police for help. Keep your order handy if you need the police.
