Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Child custody and support

I would like to know if there is a way to settle child custody arrangements without having to go to court? What if my ex and I sign papers agreeing to support terms and custody terms and have them notorized, would that be valid or is that even possible?

If you do not agree, then stop right here, and do not read any further.

The two of you can agree to custody and support arrangement, however if you ex doesn't abide by the agreement you would need to go to court to have it enforced. These matters can be complicated and very fact specific so you should consult with a Florida family law attorney.
