Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

child custody and visitation

My wife and I have shared custody of our child. She is primary residential and I am secondary. If I move out of the state, will I be able to take my daughter out of the state for regular visits? Will my ex-wife be able to deny visitation out of the state? and is there anything I need to do legally to be allowed to take my daughter out of the state for visits? I will be moving to PA

You will need a court order.

Re: child custody and visitation

Get yourselves back in front of the judge as soon as you can and adjust the visitation to relect the out-of-state move.

There are some pretty standard arrangements but you and your wife can work something out and have the judge finalize it at a hearing. Your attorneys can do it.
