child dna test
i would like to compel an ex girlfriend to get her baby dna tested when born. i believe i am the father ( she was married and we had an affair). she told me that her husband could not!!! we made love a bunch of times, he found out . anyway she was pregnant or found out three weeks later. i feel it is my baby and our affair might have been for this child or because her husband is a ill tempered police officer she fears telling or maybe he knows?? how do i compel a test ?

If the husband accepted the child as his, the court must determine that it is in the best interest of the child to order a DNA test. It might be difficult to convince the court that it is better for the child to disrupt the intact family it has always known.
