Child Passport

I separated from my son' father and I received child support for my son. Now my question is how do I have to do to get my son's passport, his father doesn't want to sign the papers to get it. Is any way as the custody parent get the passport of my son by myself or through a famiy lawyer?

You should file a motion for issunce of passport for a minor. Unless the father has a very good reason for not signing, the family law judge will allow for the passport to be issued. You may need a family lawyer to help you. It's a simple motion, but a lawyer can help you move through the process quickly. It takes some time to get a passport, so you should probably start the process as soon as possible.
