Can I take my child out of state to live?
My ex-husband wants to take to me to court for our daughter to stay close to him not live with him. I'm wanting to move out of state, to be with my fiance and get married soon he provides insurance and financially he moved out when we first purchased a house and left me with 2 kids to raise on my own and remarried another women, just wandering if I can move with our daughter? Thank you.

You now need to have the other parent's "okay" to move out of state. A notification of intent to move is filed through the courts and served on the parent. If he objects, you then get to make your case to the judge who will decide, according to certain factors, whether the move is in the child's best interest.
