Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

child support agreement

my husband and his lawyer are trying to get me to sign an agreement stating that he only owes me 300 dollars in child support for three children. I went on the chuild support calculator for my state and it states that he owes me almost triple this amount. Am I being unreasonable by insisting that our states child support agency should handle this matter and could him and his lawyer use this to make me seem unreasonable in court?

Re: child support agreement

You should probably hire a lawyer to protect your rights. That way, your lawyer can review all your paper work and facts and protect you in court.

It's not unreasonable to get what you're entited to. Check with a lawyer to make sure you are doing the guidelines right, then stand up for your rights. But using Child Support Services isn't usually the best way to go. Hire your own lawyer.
