Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

child support

I currently have 2 children and am working part time. I'm seeking a child support order from the father, but i believe he has income that he's hiding from the courts. How do I bring that out in the open beside using a financial affidavit? (I believe this added income is perfectly legal, but how do I force him to present it to the court?)

Re: child support

You should obtain as part of your child support case, through Mandatory Disclosure, his Income Tax returns. Subpoenas can be issued for billing statements for the debts listed on his financial affidavit. If he has been up to date in his payments each month and the income stated on his financial affidavit is less than his debts, that shows the court that he has additional income. Bank statements showing more deposited than his stated income on is another way to prove the additional income.
