Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

child support

I have a daughter shes 14 and she was 3 when i got divorce from the mother. 3 years ago she stop coming to my home and she refuses to come and the mothers contributes to this. I have two other children with my new wife and they miss the syster. From day one of our divorce we being fighting about the visitation rights. Now that shes 14 we donot fight or talk any more. The last time I said one word to my daughter was 3 years ago. My question is, Do i have to keep paying child support? What is my right? I just dont want to contribute to her dimise. We believe that shes already living an adult life. Her mother takes her to hotel with my daughter boyfriend, like she was an adult. there are many other issues that i do not i agree and there is nothing that i can do about it. every time i call the cops or get a lawyer, she lies and i loose more money and time. We came to the conclusion that they dont want to be part of our life and i feel if thats what they should not recive any benifits from us.

thank you.

You are still required to pay child support. Child support is based on the income of the parents, and not the amount of time you spend with the child. If your daughter's situation is still bad then you can try and have custody changed. This can be complicated so you should consult with a Florida Family law attorney.
