child support

My exhusband wants to get the child support lowered, doesn't he have to pay for mediation. And what about if he has taken a job not working to his potential intentionally? Help!

He has the right under Florida law to file a Motion for Modification. It is his burden to prove a substantial change of circumstance that were not brought about by his purposeful acts to avoid paying child support. You have the right to try and prove that he is not purposefully not working to his full potential. If this is the case, his petition should be denied.
