Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
child support
my ex-husband has not ever paid child support faithfully. Now he hasn't paid anything in 7 months. Do I still have to let him see the children???? He won't keep a job, and is very capable of getting one. He has nothing in his name. Child support is dragging their feet. I am working full time but can't afford an attorney to take him back to court, What should I do???? He is also on drug court, I thought with that he was suppose to keep a full time job. Please help me.

Re: child support
You can't withhold visitation based on nonpayment of support.
You may want to speak to the Department of Revenue, who can assist you in collecting support. They will even give you a free lawyer, though, of course, you're always better off with a private lawyer of your own.
