Since you suffered an involuntary reduction of income which does not appear to be short termed you are now entitled to a reduction but you do not get a credit for past payments.

You cannot retroactively modify child suport. It is important to immediately file a motion to reduce your support based on a change in circumstances because if the Court grants your motion it is from the date you file the motion.
