Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Child support florida

In calculating child support, what is the allowable deduction for support of other child from another relationship that lives in the home? The donor of my baby decided he wanted rights so we are amicably working out visitation and support of my infant. He is currently married and has a baby of his own. How much can he deduct from gross income (allowable deduction) for his child in the home - htere is no court ordered support when they are an intact family unit. Thanks!

Re: Child support florida

There is no deduction for support for another child unless the support is court-ordered. Also, there is never a deduction for another child that lives in the home with the payor of support.
