Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Child support hearing coming up soon. Once the Hearing Officer has ruled, how long does it normally take to get the order? Also, if the order is incorrect, how long do I have to appeal it? I live in Volusia Co.

Often the hearing officer will complete the order and give you a copy at the hearing. Sometimes, though, the order is prepared later. If so, you'll usually receive the order within 30 days. Under most circumstances, you have 30 days from the date the order is signed to file an appeal, but, if you are considering an appeal, you should speak to a lawyer just as soon as you become aware of the adverse ruling.
