Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Child Support
My ex husband was just laid off from Walt Disney World on the 20th. He was responsible for child support, medical, dental & life insurance. I will have these expenses until he gets employment. What do I have to do to make sure that he has to repay all the expenses when he is employed?

Re: Child Support
You don't have to do anything. He is automatically responsible. If he doesn't pay what he owes you, you can file a motion for contempt against him. Don't threaten him too much right now, though, or he may go to court and get his support "abated," meaning child support is stopped or reduced until he gets a new job.
