Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Child support

I just want to know if I have to include my husband's income in a child support issue. The case is in PR and the non-custodial parents is require his income, but I understand if Im getting married in Florida the income of a spouse is not valid. Its that true?

Re: Child support

If your case were in Florida, you would be right, a new spouse's income would not have to be reported (absent an order from the judge, which is rare). But since your case is in Puerto Rico, your case will be goverened by Puerto Rico law, not Florida law. You'll have to ask a Puerto Rico lawyer.
