child support while in jail

My husband has been in jail for 7 mos he is in arrears $8,000 and the ex is pursuing it through DOR to cause more harm. What can we do to stop all action while he is there?

Child support, as you now know, continues to accrue while he is in jail. You need to file a motion to abate support while he's incarcerated. "Abate," in this context, means "temporarily stop." It's not a standard motion, so you may need the help of a lawyer.
