child support

i have two kids from this guy who is in the navy.. for the past 3 years he hasnt sent me any money and for the past year he sent me 300 a month but the checks where signed by his mother .. i am in the process of getting him in child support.. he told me he is going to get a lawyer is there anything he can do to get out of paying child support? and can i get in trouble is i dont let his mother see the kids

He should taking out an allotment for the kids and the entitlement comes directly to you. You can contact his CO and explain what's happening. His mother has no obligation to send you anything. There are no "grandparents rights" as such any more in Fla.

Unless there is a cogent reason, why can't the kids see their grandma. If it is a nuturing environment then it should be encouraged.
