Child Support while legally married
My husband and I are seperating and
we have 2 children. our daughter is
2.5 and my son is 11 months. I can
not afford our children financially by
myself, Is there a way for me to
receive child support for our 2
children even though he is on a child
support case with his daughter from
a previous relationship (whom he
was never married with). please help!

There are three ways to force child support child support while you are married:
1) File for legal separation and ask for child support (and possibly alimony).
2) (This isn't exactly what you're asking for, but it may work.) File for divorce and ask for temporary child support while the divorce is pending.
3) If you seek public assistance--like food stamps, medicaid, or welfare--the Department of Revenue may automatically offer you (or even force you to accept) assistance with receiving child support.
