Child support modification

I pay child support for two children who have lived with teir mother. My 17 yr old son recently moved in with me. How do I reduce the amount I pay my ex and will it be half? Is this wise now that I earn more than when support was established?

You file a motion for modification, but of course your new salary may impact that once it is re-calculated.
