child support

just notified of son 2 1/2 years old. never married to mom. i live in tx she in Fl. do i pay all of the 17% of combined income as child support. she has income. she has--name removed--married 2yrs and has--name removed--.maybe in middle of divorce...not sure. or do i pay part of the 17%? what are my rights to the child? where can i find out this basic stuff? no problem with us...i just want to help and get it right for child.

Your income is the basis for the child support - not the mother's. You would have the rights for visitation.
